Working in Greenville

Main Street kitchens and Upstate industry

Greenville sits right on I-85, about halfway between Atlanta and Charlotte, which puts it squarely in our regular territory. Downtown’s Main Street and the area around Falls Park on the Reedy are lined with restaurants, and many of them are in older buildings where a failing quarry tile floor is a constant headache.

The Upstate is also an industrial powerhouse: Michelin’s North American headquarters is here and BMW’s plant is nearby in the Spartanburg area. Those operations support big cafeterias, break rooms and fitness centers. Greenville County Schools is the largest school district in South Carolina.

South Carolina retail food establishments are regulated under Regulation 61-25, which moved from DHEC to the SC Department of Agriculture on July 1, 2024. Like the FDA Food Code it is based on, it calls for smooth, durable, easily cleanable floors.

How a project runs

From walk-through to back in service

Site assessment

We walk the space, measure, check the slab or subfloor and note drains, thresholds and equipment that has to move.

Clear scope

You get a written scope: install system, color, cove base, drain rings, schedule and price. No guesswork on install night.

Install

Our factory-trained crew preps the substrate, sets Protect-All in urethane adhesive and welds the seams. Most kitchens are scheduled around closed hours.

Back to work

Rapid Weld seams take foot traffic in about 20 to 30 minutes; the adhesive reaches normal traffic in roughly 12 hours.
