Why Protect-All

Clean, cold and safe underfoot

The Southeast is a food-processing heartland, from Georgia’s poultry industry to snack makers in Tennessee. The spaces that support production, like cold storage, commissaries, sanitation stations and employee cafeterias, need floors that clean up fast and never hold water.

  • Rated for sub-zero cooler and freezer conditions
  • Resists animal fats, grease and chemicals
  • Resists bacteria and mildew (ASTM G21)
  • Welded seams, cove base and stainless drain rings
  • Resilient surface for long standing shifts
  • Installed around production schedules

Production floors with heavy forklift traffic, hot caustic wash-down or constant standing water are specialized environments. We assess each area and will recommend another system where Protect-All is not the right fit.

Process

How a project runs

Site assessment

We walk the space, measure, check the slab or subfloor and note drains, thresholds and equipment that has to move.

Clear scope

You get a written scope: install system, color, cove base, drain rings, schedule and price. No guesswork on install night.

Install

Our factory-trained crew preps the substrate, sets Protect-All in urethane adhesive and welds the seams. Most kitchens are scheduled around closed hours.

Back to work

Rapid Weld seams take foot traffic in about 20 to 30 minutes; the adhesive reaches normal traffic in roughly 12 hours.

FAQ

Food Processing & Cold Storage flooring questions

Is Protect-All USDA approved?
We do not make USDA or FDA approval claims for flooring. Floors in food areas must be smooth, durable, easily cleanable and non-absorbent, and Protect-All is designed to meet those requirements. Your inspector or auditor determines acceptance for your facility.
Can it handle forklifts?
Protect-All handles heavy carts and extreme weight loads. Constant forklift traffic in production areas needs an engineered system, so we assess before recommending.
Can you install around production?
Yes. We schedule around shifts, weekends and planned shutdowns.
Does it work in freezers?
Yes. Oscoda Plastics rates it for sub-zero cooler and freezer conditions.
