Common failures

What we are called to fix

01

Cracked & loose quarry tile

Rocking tiles and missing grout on cook lines and dish pits.

02

Failing walk-in floors

Soft spots, ice at seams and cracked thresholds.

03

Peeling epoxy & coatings

Coatings that delaminate in wet, hot or cold areas.

04

Worn vinyl & VCT

Tiles that lift, curl and hold dirt at the joints.

05

Curling rubber gym mats

Seams that shift and smell.

06

Damaged Protect-All sections

Cut out and welded back in, no full tear-out.

Repair or replace?

We will tell you which makes sense

Not every bad floor needs to come out. Sometimes a section can be patched, or a new floor can go over the old one. Sometimes the substrate underneath is the real problem and has to be fixed first. We look before we quote, and we explain the options and trade-offs in plain language.

When replacement is the answer, Protect-All is designed to be repairable: if a section is ever damaged, it can be cut out, replaced and welded back in without redoing the whole room.

Process

How a repair job runs

Site assessment

We walk the space, measure, check the slab or subfloor and note drains, thresholds and equipment that has to move.

Clear scope

You get a written scope: install system, color, cove base, drain rings, schedule and price. No guesswork on install night.

Install

Our factory-trained crew preps the substrate, sets Protect-All in urethane adhesive and welds the seams. Most kitchens are scheduled around closed hours.

Back to work

Rapid Weld seams take foot traffic in about 20 to 30 minutes; the adhesive reaches normal traffic in roughly 12 hours.

FAQ

Commercial Floor Repair & Replacement questions

Can you repair just part of a floor?
Often, yes, depending on the existing floor. Protect-All sections can be cut out and welded back in. For tile and coatings, we assess whether a spot repair will hold.
How fast can you come out?
We schedule assessments quickly, especially for Atlanta-area and north Georgia facilities near our Buford shop.
Will a repair pass inspection?
Our goal is a smooth, durable, cleanable, non-absorbent floor that meets code. Your inspector has the final say.
Is replacing cheaper in the long run?
Often. Constant repairs, downtime and slip risk add up. See our cost guide.
