Why Protect-All

One floor from the fry line to the freezer

A restaurant kitchen floor has to survive grease, hot water, dropped pans, heavy carts and sixteen-hour days, then pass inspection. Most kitchens try to make quarry tile work with mats and regrouting. Protect-All replaces all of that with a single system.

  • NFSI certified high-traction matte finish on wet, greasy floors
  • Resists animal fats, grease and chemicals
  • Welded seams instead of grout: nothing to erode or trap food soil
  • Resilient 1/4 in. surface is easier on cooks and on dropped plates
  • Rated for everything from freezer rooms to the fry line
  • Integral cove base and stainless drain rings for wash-down
Process

How a project runs

Site assessment

We walk the space, measure, check the slab or subfloor and note drains, thresholds and equipment that has to move.

Clear scope

You get a written scope: install system, color, cove base, drain rings, schedule and price. No guesswork on install night.

Install

Our factory-trained crew preps the substrate, sets Protect-All in urethane adhesive and welds the seams. Most kitchens are scheduled around closed hours.

Back to work

Rapid Weld seams take foot traffic in about 20 to 30 minutes; the adhesive reaches normal traffic in roughly 12 hours.

FAQ

Restaurants & Food Service flooring questions

What is the best flooring for a restaurant kitchen?
The best restaurant kitchen floor is slip-resistant when wet and greasy, non-absorbent, easy to clean, comfortable to stand on and quick to install. Protect-All is NFSI certified for high traction in matte, has welded seams instead of grout and installs around closed hours.
Can you install without closing the restaurant?
Most installs are scheduled overnight or on your slowest days. Rapid Weld seams take foot traffic in about 20 to 30 minutes, and the adhesive reaches normal traffic in roughly 12 hours.
Do we still need floor mats?
Many kitchens remove most of their anti-fatigue and anti-slip mats after switching, because Protect-All provides traction and comfort on its own. Keep entrance mats where outdoor water is tracked in.
Does it meet health code?
Health codes require smooth, durable, easily cleanable floors that are non-absorbent in wet areas, with coved floor-wall joints. Protect-All is detailed to meet those requirements. See health code floor requirements.
We have multiple locations. Can you standardize?
Yes. We work with franchise and restaurant groups to standardize color, details and scheduling across locations in our service area.
