The story

Industrial waste, turned into a better floor

Oscoda Plastics has made Protect-All in Oscoda, Michigan, for more than 30 years using pre-consumer recycled vinyl: scrap from manufacturing that would otherwise go to landfill. The result is a heavy-duty, fabric-reinforced floor with more than 90% recycled content.

Durability is part of sustainability, too. A floor that lasts, can be repaired in sections and does not need stripping, waxing or refinishing uses far fewer resources over its life than one you replace or recoat every few years.
